چکیده

Pediatric Cardiac catheterization is considered one of the most diagnostic and interventional procedures available to cardiologist. Catheterization has decreased morbidity mortality for cardiovascular defects, this invasive process not free complications. The study's objective assess nurse's knowledge practices regarding pediatric cardiac catheterization. Descriptive -analytical designs are used in current study. A purposive non-probability sample ( 30 ) Nurses were recruited who worked Sulaimani Hospital. present study shows that participants males aged between (45-49). years. demonstrated nurses' was satisfied, more than half them with "good practice." Further, result indicates a significant positive statistical correlation (nurses' Nurses' practice at Pre-cardiac, Intra-cardiac, Post-cardiac). recommends specific special training courses all nurses working children undergoing reinforce their skills promote experience, further studies also recommended.

Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization in the Pediatric Population

Although the utility of diagnostic cardiac catheterization in the clinical setting has diminished over the last years, due to the emergence of noninvasive imaging modalities, such as echocardiography, magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography, catheterization for diagnostic reasons still constitutes a valuable tool in certain parts in the workup of pediatric heart disease. As a result,...

Validation Studies at Cardiac Catheterization

In this study, we explored the use of continuous wave Doppler-echocardiography guided by color Doppler flow-mapping as a method for noninvasively calculating the rate of pressure rise (RPR) in the left ventricle. Continuous wave Doppler determination of the velocities in mitral regurgitant jets allows calculation of instantaneous pressure gradients between the left ventricle and the left atrium...
